The THREE Home Run King

Weston has had so many baseball games this week because of make-up games from all of that rain. Well, the other night, he and his teammates were on a roll. Weston hit not 1, not 2, but THREE home runs! He was on fire. I was so proud of him. He is playing really awesome this year and seems to be enjoying his team. And not to forget Kylie either--that girl is really starting to show off on a teeball field. She is playing 2nd base and has really learned how to "cover" the base. Now they aren't throwing the ball yet to get outs, but it's great to see her know what to do. She is also really good at fielding balls and tagging batters out when they head her way.
But the proudest part of the whole season has to be the most "behind the scenes" aspect. Weston is the oldest member of his team and the coach has been letting him have the motivational speech at the beginning of the game. They have even nicknamed it "Weston's Wisdom". It's awesome to hear that my son is using his words and leadership on his team! Makes a Momma proud!!
